Welcome to anysportinastorm.co.uk - an online site that brings you sporting opinion told in as unbiased a way as possible, to help sports enthusiasts everywhere share my personal thoughts and viewpoints on the world of sport

Why 'anysportinastorm'? Well, as well as having that twist on the old saying, it's all about sports played in a storm, whether that's a monsoon causing a deluge in the Theatre of Dreams or haka-stopping hurricane in Eden Park, or a metaphorical storm surrounding boardroom backstabbing, bribery, corruption and brown envelopes, the antics of spoilt and overpaid sportsmen, or doping scandals.

This site's aim is to give you my slant on such goings-on, through opinion-led pieces that present things the way I see them. It's Scott stuff' and you might not always agree with it, but isn't that what life on the terraces, in the stands or at the track is all about?

Finally, this site is here to point out that I'm available for commissions, sessions helping out on local sports desks around where I live in Lancashire and football commentary - something I've been doing since an early age in front of the box. Hope you become a frequent visitor here and like what I'm turning out and reviewing.

Lancaster’s England must prove they are best of the rest

Albert Einstein said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Well if that’s the case, Stuart Lancaster must be being driven mad by his England team coming up just a little short against New Zealand over and over again. It is now five wins [...]
